TESTIMONIALS FROM VENDORS:
It was really fun today and I
hope it only gets bigger. I think that it is a good idea to
limit the number of a particular type of product, as part of
the draw is the brisk sales all round. That said, it will
be great to see what all else ends up being sold. I think
that this will eventually get really big and the weather
won't matter.
I really had
a good time and can't wait to finish off my display
cakes and bring more next week for people to look at.
It was loads of fun and I met lots of really neat
people that I can't wait to share tips and tricks with.
Having a healthy network really helps.

I was lucky enough to be able to participate at the inaugural
launch of the Bakers Market. It was a gloriously sunny day
and when the doors opened at 11 customers literally flooded
in. The product I demonstrate is delicious Tega Rooibos
tea, what could be better, fresh baked cup cakes and
incredibly healthy tea?!!! Connie is very creative and I am
convinced that the 'Baker's Market' is going to become a
permanent fixture in Van. The demographics of the customers
was diverse, all with a common goal, to buy fresh baked
goods.
The bad and good news was that many of the vendors had
completely sold out by 2 pm, so customers arriving after
that time were unlucky, not a single cup cake left. I
loved your creativity which translated into a warm, buzzy,
buying product and lots of it, environment. Great location
with lots of parking, lovely space. My table location was
perfect by the doors and a fellow vendor Mary seemed to
appreciate my exuberance.I appreciated the chance to be a
part of something brand new in Vancouver - hopefully it will
grow expeditiously ....
